Kroger Smith's Shopping Trip

It seems like my store is always cleaned out pretty fast on these big sales so I hit another store this morning while I was out doing my shopping.

Total came to $73.52 before sale prices and coupons.

I paid $18.13

I used two of my free Freschetta Pizza coupons (for a savings of $13.38)
I used one of my $3.00 catalinas from my last Kroger shopping trip
The sausage was .58 cents each when buying 10 for the Daytona Event
I used (4) $1.00 off coupons for the pasta that was on sale for $1.29 - making them .29 cents each
As well as various cereal coupons I had!

I also recieved another $3.00 catalina for my next trip to use - I'm going to my store later to stock up on peanut butter, so I should get 10 jars of peanut butter for $7.00  - not bad!

House Party!

Have you ever heard of House Party?  I signed up with them about a year ago and them forgot all about it.  Recently I saw an invitation to host a Freschetta Pizza Party and so I signed up.

I was so excited when I was chosen to be a hostess!  I am to invite friends and family to come over and Freschetta?  They take care of some other fun details!  This is what came in the mail this last week:

Loads of pizza cutters, oven mitts, plates, napkins and coupons!
Free pizza coupons to buy pizza for my guests with and tons of high value $3.00 off coupons to give out!  Fun!
Have any of you every done this?

Price Matching

I love it when the WinCo ads come in the mail.  They always have such great coupons!
My only problem is I never get over to WinCo to use them!  This week had some great coupons so I took them to Wal-Mart to do some price matching.
It's SO easy!
Santitas chips normally $2.00  per bag = .78 cents
Saltine crackers = .78 cents
3 lbs chicken breasts normally $6.98 = $3.98
TP normally $5.98 = $3.98
Bertolini = .98 cents
Bar S bacon = normally  $3.76 = .98 cents each

I have a few more but I had to leave to get Graham from school....going back to use those.  Wal-Mart is great about price matching these deals if you have the coupons and don't go over the limit number.  I was really pleased with the savings though!
