I love that by combining the sale and coupons I got the croutons for .29 cents, the cheese was 69 cents a bag (it freezes great!) the pasta, toothpaste and toothbrushes were all free. I love that! 

I was pretty unorganized on this trip and I had both Greg and Lauren with me.  All in all, I was pretty pleased with this shopping trip!

There is still time...sale is still on through today and all coupons are rounded up to $1.00!

Two Days in a Row!

So I sign up for a lot of freebies at WalMart.com and a website called VocalPoint...here are a few things that came in the mail on Saturday!

I looked a little closer inside and as well as three $1.50 off coupons for Pampers, it came with 3 sample diapers and another $3.00 off coupon that ended up using that day at Fresh Market. 

The mayo packets are fun - I thought about trying that but didn't want to buy a whole jar and have it be yuck.  

Don't be afraid to sign up - it's fun to try out new products this way!

Mailtime!

I seriously fight Greg for the mail now.  I love getting it that much.  Don't worry, I always let him win. 

But how fun to get samples and coupons in the mail almost everyday now?  

Love love love it!

Vacation Fund

Sweet!  I had an unexpected check sent to me yesterday from our Pediatrician's office.  I guess I had overpaid???  Huh.

Oh well.  My lucky day I guess.

I pretended like I never even saw it and put it right in our savings.  All $7.64 of it.

That's going to buy Dan and I (um, er, I mean the kids) two yummy Dole whips!

  Rumor on the street (or blog) is that Smith's will be having a Mega Savings event next week...and they'll be rounding coupons up to $1 for the entire week!

Our chump change jar has a new purpose.  

I'm stealing it everytime it gets full and taking it straight to the bank for our new vacation fund!

The ladies moan and groan when they see me coming but I'm nice and help count it out.

I think the smell is just delightful in the summer.  Not that it's summer here, yet.  It's windy and rainy today.

Chicken Baby!!

You might consider heading over to Fresh Market to pick up some chicken!

They have #10 boxes of chicken breasts for $1.48 per pound (so $14.something a box!)

I saw it lower for $1.38 a pound at BuyLow in Provo. Last year.  And I paid the extra 10 cents in gas going to get it!  Ha!
